Ideal for diluting linseed oil paint and treating wood.
This is original cold-pressed, matured and boiled linseed oil from Sweden. It's what linseed oil paint is made from, so it's the perfect thinner.
This linseed oil has faster drying times than raw linseed oil, however, so if you're painting very dry, porous wood we'd recommend raw linseed oil instead.
Boiled linseed oil can also be used for oiling and surface-treating indoor wood giving a rich, mellow patina to stripped or bare wood.Available in 1L size.

The clearest, most transparent linseed oil you can buy for untreated light soft woods like (pitch) pine and red cedar.
Natural linseed oil has a wonderful rich golden patina, but sometimes you may want your wood to have a colourless, transparent finish without that yellowing effect. When used on dark woods, it could leave a white sheen on the surface, which will eventually wear off - however, if you don't like this, please don't use the oil.
Clarity is made from raw linseed oil plus a small amount of white and grey pigment and nothing else. When first applied to timber, it has the appearance of a whitish/grey wash, transforming over 4-8 weeks to a perfectly clear linseed oil finish. When applied in multiple coats, the white will build up.
Clarity linseed oil is ideal for all kinds of wood and timber, and for both interior and exterior use.
How to apply
- Apply Clarity linseed oil using a brush and work it really well into your wood.
- Apply in 2-3 very thin coats. Different types of timber may required more or fewer coats, depending on the absorption level.
- Wipe off any excess oil after 1-2 hours.
- To maintain the finish, re-oil whenever required.
1 litre of Clarity linseed oil will cover approximately 20-23 m2 of timber.
SizeClarity linseed oil is available 1-litre and 3-litre tins.
